PresidentMr. Vijay Kumar brings on board over 35 years of experience in development sector. He has a Master’s degree in Rural Development. He is regarded as a leader with a clear vision for tomorrow. He is well known and honoured by his associates and peers for his futuristic decision making capacity and good sense of judgment, essential for a leader at the helm of affairs. Mr. Vijay Kumar over the years has had a tremendous and long career working with thousands of youth across Jharkhand and Bihar creating youth networks and forming micro level Youth leaders on the ground level. Apart from this he has experience of working on diverse issues like health, nutrition, livelihood, education, and youth affairs. Prior to joining YUVA, Vijay Kumar was the State Director of Jharkhand for Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (An autonomous body under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. Of India).
Rakesh Narayan
Founding member and SecretaryMr. Rakesh Narayan joined YUVA in 2009 as a founding member and at present is the Secretary of the organisation. Based out of the head office, he is primarily responsible for the overall programme strategy of YUVA. Prior to joining YUVA he worked with various development agencies on topics like livelihood, health and education.
Biswajit Chakraborty
Treasurer, Founding memberBiswajit Chakraborty joined YUVA in 2009 as a founding member and is the treasurer of YUVA. His key responsibility is to ensure statutory compliance and financial management as well as developing fundraising strategy in Jharkhand. He comes with a wide range of experience of the regional markets as well as organisational norms. Biswajit has spent over 25 years in the development sector and has a passion for finance. This has brought about a profound influence on his professional life. He completed his graduation from Calcutta University.
