About Us

Philosophy - YUVA Youths Union For Voluntary Action Strikes out Strategic Alliances with Stakeholders with a Vision to Accomplishing MDGs by tapping youth energy, Innovation and creativity. It wishes to utilize optimally the potential of youth for the development of an open access society. YUVA Joined hands with stakeholders to prevent our youth from giving into violence and terrorism by providing them better options trough strengthening and empowering them.

Vision - A caring and Sharing Society based on Equality and brotherhood without any distinction of caste, creed, religion and Nationality for equitable, socially just, educated and egalitarian Society.

Mission - To work for the Integrated Development of the Community through the optimum utilization of the locally available human, natural & Institutional resources using the youth force so that the gulf between the haves and have not’s to be bridged without any distinction of caste, creed and religion.

Objectives

Create a comprehensive data bank on youth demography, resources, organizations and opportunities, including effective dissemination strategies.

Greater collaboration among youth organizations, donors, government and other stakeholders.

Building the capacity for youth active citizenship through greater training and learning opportunities and the creation of greater opportunities for young people and civil society to be involved in social and political/policy-making processes.

To Promote livelihood, education, health and skills of the socially excluded groups. Development of appropriate evaluation tools to assess and highlight the impact of youth active citizenship programs.

Ensure that young women are supported to participate in programs and that program design takes into account power dynamics between young men and women.

Community based rehabilitation of people living with various forms of disabilities to ward off their social isolation.

To promote optimal utilization of the human natural and Institutional resources through striking our strategic and tactical alliances.

Team YUVA

Two Personnel Trained from Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi On Development of Communication Strategies and Communication Matrix.

Two of the team members are DART (District Advisory Resource Team ) of Rajiv Gandhi National Institute For Youth Development Activities, Sri Perumbadur which is a deemed University and Research Wing of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India.

Two of our team members are state level trainers of high school teachers on UDDAN Module and Life Skills Module.

YUVA has membership in DAC and DIMC of the Department of Health, Hazaribag in the PC & PNDT Cell.

YUVA represents the State level cell on Disaster Management.

YUVA has trained personnel on providing training programs in farm and non farm sectors.
